This policy explains, in plain language, what information Shift State collects when you use shiftstate.com or visit us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we are
Shift State is a wellness studio at 11251 S Eastern Ave, Suite 180, Henderson, NV 89052. You can reach us at Zach@shiftstate.com or 702-255-6189.
Information we collect
- Information you give us.If you join our newsletter or interest list, buy a pass, session, membership or gift card, or book a class through Mindbody, you provide details such as your name, email address, phone number and purchase history. Payment card details are entered with Mindbody’s checkout and are handled by Mindbody; this website does not collect card numbers.
- Email and phone inquiries. If you email or call us (for example about a group, a facilitator application, or an accommodation), we keep the details you share so we can respond.
- Tour bookings. If you book a free tour, Calendly collects the name, email and scheduling details you enter.
- Usage data. We use Google Analytics 4, which uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at our site.
- Embedded and linked services. Our pages embed a Google Maps map and load fonts from Google Fonts. These services may receive your IP address and browser details when the page loads. We also link to our Instagram and Facebook pages; those platforms have their own privacy practices.
How we use information
- To provide, schedule and manage classes, sessions, passes and memberships.
- To respond to your questions, tour requests and accommodation requests.
- To send newsletters and studio news if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand how our website is used and improve it.
- To keep our website and studio secure, and to meet legal obligations.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run Shift State, and only as needed for their service:
- Mindbody— class schedule, purchases, memberships, gift cards and the newsletter form.
- Google— Google Analytics 4, Google Maps and Google Fonts.
- Calendly— free tour scheduling.
- Netlify— website hosting, which may keep standard server logs such as IP address and pages requested.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety or property of Shift State, our guests or others. Each provider handles information under its own privacy policy.
We do not sell personal information
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and how to opt out
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them mainly for Google Analytics, and our embedded Mindbody, Calendly and Google services may set their own. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site (such as the schedule or checkout) may not work without them. To opt out of Google Analytics across sites, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (opens in new tab). Our site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, and then delete or de-identify it. Records held by Mindbody, Calendly and Google are kept under their own retention practices.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us. Residents of California and Nevada may have additional rights under state law, including the right to request access to or deletion of personal information and to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell it). To make a request, email Zach@shiftstate.com or call 702-255-6189. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some information held by Mindbody or Calendly may need to be requested through those services as well.
Children
Shift State is for guests 18 and older, and our website is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, and our website is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Please check back periodically.
