Accessibility Statement
Last updated: November 4, 2026
Shift State wants everyone to be able to use our website and our studio. We are committed to making shiftstate.com accessible and to meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and 2.2 at Level AA.
What we do
- Provide a “Skip to content” link, a logical heading structure and landmark regions on every page.
- Make all pages usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Write text alternatives for meaningful images and hide purely decorative ones from assistive technology.
- Keep text and interface colors at or above the WCAG AA contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for body text.
- Let text be resized and pages reflow on small screens without horizontal scrolling.
- Respect the “reduce motion” setting on your device and avoid auto-playing or flashing content.
- Use descriptive link text and tell you when a link opens in a new tab.
- Use expandable question-and-answer sections that work with keyboards and screen readers.
We check our pages with automated accessibility testing and review issues as we update the site.
Known limitations
Some parts of shiftstate.com are provided by third parties and are outside our direct control. These include the class schedule, purchase and membership links, and the newsletter form from Mindbody, tour scheduling from Calendly, and the embedded Google Maps map. We are working with these providers and will keep reviewing them, but some parts may not fully meet WCAG yet. If a third-party tool is not usable for you, contact us and we will help you book or buy another way.
Request help or accommodations
If you have trouble using any part of our website, need information in another format, or would like to discuss an accommodation for your visit to the studio, please contact us:
- Email: Zach@shiftstate.com
- Phone: 702-255-6189
Please tell us the page or feature you were trying to use and how we can reach you. We will make reasonable efforts to respond promptly and to give you the information or service you need in another way.
